Wake County to Continue Free COVID-19 Testing Next Week in Raleigh, Wake Forest

Sites closed Thursday for Thanksgiving

Except for Thanksgiving Day, Wake County Public Health will continue next week to offer free COVID-19 testing at drive-thru locations in Raleigh and Wake Forest.

“We’re already seeing a marked increase in demand for testing ahead of Thanksgiving, and we expect that surge to continue after the holiday passes,” said Wake County Medical Director Dr. Kim McDonald. “To limit your wait time, be sure to visit our website and register for an appointment.”

For more information on how you can celebrate Thanksgiving while minimizing the chances of spreading COVID-19, visit wakegov.com/HealthierHolidays.

Testing will return to the Sunnybrook Building parking deck, located in eastern Raleigh at 2925 Holston Lane, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 23–24 and Nov. 27–28.

The service will also continue in Wake Forest with our contracted partner, Radeas Labs, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 23–25 and Nov. 27–28 at 907 Gateway Commons Circle.

If testing at Sunnybrook, please follow this three-step sign-up process:

  • Step 2: Complete this registration form.
