Meet Historic Oak View's New Baby Goats

Historic Oak View County Park has some very exciting news to share! Please help us give a warm welcome to the newest members of the Oak View goat herd, Henry and Oscar! They are about 3 months old and came to us from a farm outside of Wake Forest. Henry and Oscar are Mini Nubians, which means they are half Nigerian Dwarf and half Nubian goat.

They've blended seamlessly into our herd and were welcomed into their new goat family by Levi, Leroy, and Felix. Like all of our goats, they enjoy spending their days grazing in the goat corral, munching on grass and leaves, and taking the occasional sun-filled nap. These two blue-eyed brothers are bonded for life, so you can usually find one right next to the other! Henry has mostly brown fur with black markings on his face and a black streak across his back, and Oscar is mostly white with black stripes on his face and black on his ears and on the top of his neck.

Please stop by soon to say hello! The goats are out in the Goat Corral (weather permitting) Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Sunday 1:30-4:30 p.m.
