As part of the 2021 NC Science Festival Wake County Solid Waste Management Division's Outreach and Education Team will host "Talking Trash" on Earth Day, April 22, 2021.

Join Environmental Educators on a virtual tour of the South Wake Landfill to find out what happens to your trash. As part of the virtual event, you will also learn how to reduce waste at home, recycle more, and get all your waste related questions answered by our expert panel.
