Learn about local planning initiatives underway in your community, and provide feedback on proposed land use designations at this in-person workshop.

Land use is an issue that impacts everyone in a community. The way land is used is a key factor in how far we travel to the store, work, school or medical facilities. Land use dictates the character of a community by defining what can be built, if anything, in a given area.

This workshop will bring community planners, partners and the public together to share ideas and develop a plan for future land use. The workshop will include a presentation of the current planning environment and proposed changes, an opportunity to speak with Wake County planners one-on-one and a platform to provide input on the type of community characteristics desired by the people who live, work and play in the Middle Creek study area.
