It’s hurricane season, everyone! Time to make a plan and prepare. Join Dr. Sarah Kirby, Assistant Director of NC State Extension, and Dr. Ellen Shumaker, Director of Outreach for Safe Plates, to discuss food safety and preparation, as well as best practices for preparing your home before disaster strikes. As if that wasn’t enough, there will be delicious country ham biscuits (in case of a hurricane power outage, country ham doesn’t need refrigeration!) and lemonade for all to enjoy.
