John Oxendine, a member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, has worked for the Lumbee Tribe for more than 20 years. Oxendine helped establish the Culture Department for the Lumbee Tribe of NC and helped establish the annual Lumbee Tribe Powwow, now one of the largest Powwows on the east coast.
