2024 Spring Onsite Wastewater Installer and Designer Workshop

2024 Spring Onsite Wastewater Installer and Designer Workshop

About This Event

Onsite wastewater systems serve as essential solutions for collecting, treating and distributing wastewater generated by homes or businesses. Typically, these systems include a septic tank, a pump tank (if a pump system), a distribution device and a drainfield designed to efficiently disperse treated wastewater into the ground. Manufacturers play a crucial role in developing and packaging new technologies for on-site wastewater systems. Wake County actively collaborates with manufacturers to inform stakeholders about the latest innovations and products available. These new products serve as alternatives to traditional stone and pipe septic systems. If you are an engineer, registered environmental health specialist, consultant, licensed soil scientist, installer or work in the profession, make sure to participate in our free, in-person workshop.

Wake County's Onsite Water Protection Division invites you to join the “2024 Spring Onsite Wastewater Installer and Designer Workshop” on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Wake County Commons Building located at 4011 Carya Drive, Raleigh, NC. Parking at the Commons Building is free. Representatives from Anua/Geoflow, Crumpler Plastic Pipe Inc. and American Manufacturing Company, Inc. will present at the workshop and/or perform product demonstrations as needed. The workshop is free and will be submitted to the North Carolina Registered Environmental Health Specialist Board for eight CE hours. Great gratitude to Anua for sponsoring lunch for this event and to Crumpler Plastic Pipe Inc. for sponsoring coffee/break in the morning.
