Update as of Oct. 9

  • We have 8 new cases of dogs with URI.
  • We have a total of 78 sick dogs in the building as of this morning.
  • We have not had any additional deaths or euthanasia due to CIV.
  • We have a 4th confirmed case of CIV.  This was a diagnostic test submitted on 10/2/2023 and we just got the results back.  This dog is currently under treatment.
  • We have one cat showing URI symptoms who will be starting treatment – no other cats in the building are showing URI signs.

Update as of Oct. 11

  • 4 new cases on 10/10/2023
  • 1 new case on 10/11/2023
  • Of the 78 that were sick as of 10/9/2023, 6 have completed URI treatment and are not showing URI symptoms

Update as of Oct. 16

  • From Oct. 14-15, we have had 6 new dogs break with URI symptoms.
  • Since Oct. 9, we have had 26 dogs break with URI symptoms.  
  • We have a total of 71 sick dogs in the building as of this morning.
  • We have not had any additional deaths or euthanasia due to CIV.

Update as of Oct. 23

  • From Oct. 21-22, we have had 7 new dogs break with URI symptoms.
  • Since 10/16/2023, we have had 24 dogs break with URI symptoms. 
  • We have a total of 54 sick dogs in the building as of this morning.
  • We have not had any additional deaths or euthanasia due to CIV.

Update as of Oct. 30

  • From Oct. 28-29, we had 2 new dogs break with URI symptoms.
  • We have a total of 41 sick dogs in the building as of this morning.
  • We had one additional death, likely due to CIV.

Update as of Nov. 6

  • From Nov. 4-5, we have had 0 new dogs break with URI symptoms, 2 dogs who were previously treated who have become sick again.
  • Since Oct. 30, we have had 3 dogs break with URI symptoms. 
  • We have a total of 18 sick dogs in the building as of this morning.
  •  We have had one any additional death, likely due to CIV.

Update as of Nov. 13

  • From Nov 11-12, we have had 1 new dog break with URI symptoms.
  • We have a total of 5 sick dogs in the building as of this morning.
  • We have not had any additional deaths or euthanasia due to CIV.

Update as of Nov. 20

  • From Nov. 18-19, we had 0 new dogs break with URI symptoms.
  • We have a total of 2 sick dogs in the building as of this morning.
  • We have had no additional deaths due to canine influenza.

Update as of Nov. 27

  • From Nov 25-26, we had 0 new dogs break with URI symptoms.
  • We have 0 dogs who are currently sick with active upper respiratory disease, but some who are still recovering.
  • We have had no additional deaths due to canine influenza.
