Document Recording and Vital Records Issuance Extended 15 minutes.

Raleigh, NC - Wake County Register of Deeds, Tammy Brunner announced that the Register of Deeds office has extended business hours by 15 minutes.

“We listened to our customers and there is a real need for our office to end the business day at 5:00 p.m. instead of 4:45 p.m. It may not seem like a lot of time, but doing so will have a big impact on the people and businesses we regularly service especially our real estate customers,” said Wake County Register of Deeds Tammy Brunner.

“Our office doors will close at 5:00 p.m. for walk-in business and we will stop processing eRecording documents at 5:00 p.m. as well,” she said.

The Wake County Register of Deeds is located inside the Wake County Justice Center, 300 S. Salisbury St, Suite 1700, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Customers are encouraged to visit the website at www.wakegov.com/rod to search for Wake County real estate documents, order copies of birth, death, and marriage records, and other documents online or by mail.
