North Regional Library to Reopen Aug. 1

North Regional Library, which closed for renovations in October 2021, will reopen to the public on Monday, Aug. 1. Staff is excited to greet readers!

The renovated library features updated finishes, new service desks and improved accessibility. Visitors will also notice updated flooring, ceilings, fresh paint, entrance doors and lighting.

These upgrades are the first since North Regional Library opened in 2007. The location has seen heavy use with the third-largest book circulation and visitation rate in the Wake County Public Libraries system.

The project cost just over $1.9 million.
