Some common household items can contain hazardous materials that should not be disposed of in household garbage due to their potentially harmful properties.
Drop-Off Locator Tool
Residents and businesses can use the Drop-Off Locator Tool to locate where to recycle or dispose materials. Choose the material you wish to recycle or dispose from the drop-down menu and enter your zip code or address. The tool will map and list the facilities in your area that accept your material and list the hours of operation.
Outreach & Education
The Outreach & Education team provides an array of educational experiences to encourage waste reduction, recycling and environmental stewardship in the community. We provide facility tours, conduct community presentations, coordinate recycling and litter cleanup events, host informational booth at events, provide environmental education in the schools and more.
