In September, the Wake County Board of Commissioners approved the county’s Opioid Settlement Funding Plan, which will put $4.85 million toward four key initiatives to tackle the opioid crisis through June 2024. It’s the initial phase of a plan that will invest a total of $36.1 million into fighting the opioid epidemic over the next 18 years. You can learn more about the county's plan here.
