EMS CPR Class

Man practices CPR compressions on a mannequin

About This Event

Each year in the U.S., 350,000 people die from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Getting bystander CPR and an AED on scene before emergency responders arrive greatly improves survivability.

As part of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Month, Wake County EMS is offering a free, hands-only CPR/AED course. This is not a certification course, but it's important to understand that a certification is not required to provide bystander CPR or use an AED. The only requirement is your willingness to help. Let us show you how!
