Hedingham Helpers and Big Sweepers! Join us to help clean up litter on the streets and grounds of the Hedingham community to keep our environment and watersheds litter-free before it enters and pollutes Crabtree Creek and the Neuse River. Volunteers will be meeting at the Willow Oak Clubhouse.

Gloves, litter grabbers, trash bags, safety vests, recycle bags and data cards are provided. Dress for the weather in closed-toed shoes, long pants and old clothes. Drinking water, sunscreen, and a hat are recommended.

All volunteers must sign a liability waiver. Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Pre-registration is required. Please select "Hedingham" event.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer. Adults must register and accompany minors under the age of 18. Any high-school students must be accompanied by an adult regardless of age. Everyone who volunteers must sign a liability waiver. If anyone is under the age of 18, then a parent or guardian must sign their form.
