The hospital staff is working hard to prepare your child’s birth certificate. Please review the “Birth Verifications of Facts form” diligently and bring any errors to the staff’s attention before signing.

The Wake County Register of Deeds office can provide a certified copy of the birth certificate approximately 14 days after the child’s birth.

You may request a certified copy of the birth certificate online, by mail or in person.
