Turnipseed Nature Preserve is a 265-acre park located south of Wendell in the eastern part of Wake County, near the Johnston County line.

PEAK SEASON
Summer hours from April 1st until August 31st:
8 a.m.–Sunset
Monday–Sunday

OFF-PEAK SEASON
Winter hours from September 1st until March 31st :
8 a.m.–Sunset
Saturdays and Sundays

Preserve is also open on the following holidays:

Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day

Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
