Prevention, education and testing services have been modified due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

  • HIV and STD testing and education at community sites have been paused.

The HIV Clinic provides: 

  • Comprehensive Primary Health Care -  supported by the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program funding for people living with HIV 
  • Nutritional Counseling - to make sure you're eating the right foods 
  • Adherence Counseling - to help you stay on your medications 
  • Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling 
  • Clinical Trials 
  • Case Management 

 

To  be eligible for services you must be: 

  • A Wake County resident 
  • HIV positive

Patient billing and insurance:

We accept Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance. If you do not have insurance or your insurance does not fully cover HIV services, you will be asked to pay a fee depending on your income and family size (sliding fee scale).
