Sexually Transmitted Diseases (Clinic A)

Services: 

  • Testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases 
  • HIV testing and counseling 
  • PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), a daily medicine that reduces the chance of getting HIV. Is PrEP right for you

You can make an appointment (919-250-4410) or you can walk in. Walk in service is on a first come first served basis.  

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: sign-in is at 8 am and 12:30 pm.  
  • Tuesdays: Sign-in is at 9:30 am and 12:30 pm.  
  • Wednesday evening clinic: Sign-in is at 4:30 pm.

Children’s Clinic (Clinic C)

Services: 

  • Preventive health care for children: immunizations, check-ups, physical exams for child care, school or sports

  • Referrals for behavior services

Smiles at Sunnybrook: 

Smiles at Sunnybrook is a dental clinic offering FREE teeth cleanings to Wake County children ages 0-20 years old  who do not have insurance. Patients can take advantage of this service Mondays - Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm by appointment only. Please call 919-250-4615 to make your appointment today.

Tuberculosis Clinic (Clinic E)

Services: 

  • TB skin testing 
  • Chest x-rays for people with a documented positive skin test or health care provider referral  
  • TB screenings for work/school for people with a history of or a documented positive skin test and a negative chest x-ray 
  • Treatment for latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) and for TB disease 
  • TB prevention education 


Appointments and Hours: 

Call 919-250-3898 to make an appointment. People with appointments are seen first. People who walk in may be seen if there is an open time in the schedule. Otherwise an appointment will be made for another day. 

TB skin tests are given: 

  • Monday, Tuesday and Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. 
  • Wednesday: 8:30 a.m.- 11 a.m.  

There is no TB skin testing on Thursdays. 

TB skin tests are read on: 

  • Monday, Thursday and Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. 
  • Wednesday: 8:30 a.m.- 11 a.m.  

We may have to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late. 

Costs: 

There is no cost for TB medications if they are prescribed for you. 

There is a charge for the following services: 

TB risk screening  $ 15 
TB risk screening with skin testing​  $ 40
TB risk screening for people with a positive skin test in the past $ 25

Prescriptions filled for WCHS clients and Community Provider Network

*Attention*  Narcan (naloxone) is now available for free from the pharmacy while supplies last.  Narcan is used to revive people who have overdosed on opioids (heroin, fentanyl, Demerol, oxycodone, hydromorphone, methadone, morphine, hydrocodone, etc).

Maternal and Child Health

Maternal and Child Health Program

The Maternal and Child Health Program is an “umbrella” service area that uses many services and strategies to ensure access and continuity of care to promote positive social and medical outcomes. Once engaged in care, services are available to women and their families based on medical, social, safety and/or educational need. Services continue during pregnancy until two months postpartum. For families with more intensive needs, services continue longer.

Child Health Promotion

The state of North Carolina has developed several programs to promote the health of young children and to help them get the best possible chance to grow and learn. These programs include newborn home visits and assessments, Care Coordination for Children, and Early Intervention services. The goal of these programs is to promote child health and well-being and early identification of children at risk for developmental delays.

  • Family Planning: Including Mirena and Paragard IUD (Intrauterine Device), Nexplanon contraceptive implant, Depo-Provera, birth control pills, patches, rings, diaphragm, condoms and natural family planning
