Youth Services

Learning Together

North Carolina-licensed 5-Star Center, NAEYC-accredited developmental day preschool serving 113 children, both with and without disabilities, ages 18 months to 5 years old

Serving 179 children with federally funded programs for low-income children, and providing child care, education and social services

4-H Cooperative Extension

Offering clubs, staff-led programs and projects, summer camps, teen programs, leadership experiences and after-school programs

Public computer access

Available in the lower level of the Crosby-Garfield Building. Enter the building at entrance "E" and turn left to use the computers. Printing is also available during business hours.

GoTriangle Youth Passes

Available in the lower level of the Crosby Garfield Center at the front desk in Entrance "E." Youth ages 13–18 can come in with proof of age (copy of your birth certificate, a valid school ID, license or other government-issued ID) and a completed application to obtain a pass and ride GoRaleigh, GoDurham, GoCary and GoTriangle buses for free! Applications are also available at the front desk or print one out here.

MindSet Life Coaching

This free human capital development program uses life coaching to help clients develop their 5-year plan and empower them to reach their goals in areas such as finances, employment, healthy lifestyle, and family and community.

Family Services

Programs within our Children and Family Services provide support to families with children. These services help first-time moms prepare for birth, provide nurse home visits and additional support through a child’s first five years and continued support to school age children and their families.
