Utility and energy data provide information on prioritizing energy conservation measures (ECM) and developing projects to implement these measures. The County’s Energy Advisory Commission provides input and review of data, projects and initiatives that GSA is involved with.
Physical Plant houses the building automation and management group which manages and maintains the system which control building HVAC and electrical systems. This group is responsible for building occupancy scheduling and monitoring for system malfunctions. The Building Management System (BMS) allows for faster response to HVAC system troubles through the use of system alarms and trending data.
Utilities
The General Services Administration manages the payment of utility bills for all County facilities. Through this management, GSA monitors and analyzes utility consumption checks for abnormalities and responds with corrective maintenance.
