The Facilities Design & Construction Office plans and carries out the capital improvement program for County departments and the Board of Commissioners. When outsourcing work to private firms – including design, construction, materials testing and other services – the department uses competitive procurement methods consistent with County policy and N.C. General Statutes. Achieving our goals requires collaboration and partnerships with County departments, other public entities and private firms.
