Get Tested. Get Treated. Crush COVID. Graphic of two stick-figure people giving a high-five

There's a treatment for COVID-19 - and there's a very good chance you qualify. If you've recently tested positive or have symptoms of COVID-19, you may be eligible for monoclonal antibodies or mAbs. This treatment may keep you from getting sicker and going to the hospital. It can only be given within 10 days from when your symptoms start, so get tested - then treated at one of WakeMed's four CrushCOVID clinics. Call to see if you qualify: 919-350-9590.

WakeMed is the second health system in North Carolina to join the initiative.

This one-time mAb infusion treatment has been shown to help prevent acute illness and hospitalization by up to 70 percent. Working with the NC Department of Health and Human Services, the US Department of Health and Human Services and WakeMed, we want to ensure we increase access to this therapy in underserved communities in Wake County.

Eligibility & Appointments

  • Patients must meet the emergency use authorization definition of “high risk.” Many people are eligible for the treatment and do not realize it.
  • To confirm eligibility and book an appointment, call the mAb Infusion Line 919-350-9590. MANY people qualify for the treatment as long as they test positive for COVID-19 and get an appointment within 10 days of symptom onset.
  • Treatment is free for individuals who do not have health coverage. For people who have health insurance, copays or other charges may apply.
