 The County website is managed by the Web Support Team in Information Services' Applied Technologies group.
The County's first website was developed in the late 1990s by our Library system. Today, all County departments maintain content on one, central County website, at www.wakegov.com.
WakeGOV.com uses a Content Management System (CMS). Specifically, we use Microsoft's Content Management Server 2002. CMS allows us to easily manage and maintain a large enterprise website portal.
