Wake County offices inside the Wake County Justice Center will be closed to the public on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 and Wednesday, January 20, 2021. No staff will be on site to take walk-in traffic. Payments will continue to be accepted online or by mail and staff is available to answer questions by phone or email during this time.
COVID-19 Office Update: The Tax Administration office is now open to the public from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday to assist taxpayers in person. When entering the Wake County Justice Center, each person will be required to go through a security checkpoint and screening process which includes a temperature check and responding to COVID related questions. A face mask and social distancing are required at all times while inside the Justice Center. Please note that due to screening and distancing requirements, service may take longer than normal. We appreciate your patience as we do our part to keep our guests and staff safe. Customers are encouraged to conduct their business online, by phone or through the mail, if possible. Please view our payment options available for your convenience, including the ability to pay by bank draft, debit or credit card.
