Wake Soil & Water Conservation District

Protecting Wake County's Natural Resources
for over 65 years

Operations of the Wake Soil and Water Conservation District are directed by a Board of Supervisors. Three of the five members are elected officials. The remaining two are nominated by the Board and appointed by the state Soil and Water Conservation Commission. The Board may also appoint an unlimited number of associate supervisors, who do not have a vote on Board issues but provide assistance. All positions on the District Board are nonpartisan.

Big Sweep events now scheduled. Help keep Wake County clean!
