Update on Creech Road Incident

The Wake County Sheriff's Office received a call today at 7:36 a.m. about a possible shooting at 800 Creech Road. When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered 2 victims, injured from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to WakeMed.

One victim, June Pearce Carlyle (49 years old) of 800 Creech Road, Garner, has died at WakeMed. Cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.

The other victim, Jose Manuel Valdez-Masias (44 years old) of 1896 Spring Drive, Garner, remains at WakeMed. The Sheriff's Office has obtained a warrant for Valdez-Masias charging him with Murder.

The investigation continues.
