Leaving Money for Inmates
Money may be left for deposit in an Inmate’s Trust Fund by any of the following means:
In Person
The inmate trust window is located on the first floor of the Public Safety Center. Deposit hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Cash, money orders, certified checks and payroll checks (for the inmate) are accepted. Note: money orders, certified checks and payroll checks will be held in escrow for 14 days. This allows enough time for them to clear the bank. After that time period, the inmate will have access to their funds.
By Mail
Inmates may also have money deposited into the trust fund by money orders through the mail. Make the money order payable in the inmate’s full name. As with leaving money in person, money orders that are mailed will be held in escrow for 14 days. This allows enough time for them to clear the bank. After that time period, the inmate will have access to their funds.
