The Wake County Sheriff’s Office Evidence Room is conducting a special sealed bids auction of two hundred and eighty-eight (288) firearms for trade/exchange for new duty firearms. Bidding opens November 19, 2015, and ends December 8, 2015, at 5 p.m. Only FFL dealers may bid. This is not a ‘courthouse steps’ type of auction. The trade or exchange is to be for new SIG Sauer pistols as specified in the bid specifications. The auction lots will be available for viewing and inspection by interested FFL dealers only on limited dates (December 2–3) during the bidding period. Viewing will be by appointment only. Non-FFL dealers may not participate. Winning bidder takes ALL the firearms AS IS. There will be no splitting of lots. No cash bids. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Steering Committee
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) program will hold its annual steering committee on December 3, 2015, at 1 p.m.. The meeting will be held at the Wake County Detention Center on Hammond Road in Room S1326 (Training Room). The committee intends to discuss the current mission and vision of the ICE program as well as present relevant data from the program. Citizens are encouraged to attend to address any issues or concerns to the committee. This is a public meeting.
