South Wake Landfill
The South Wake Landfill will provide solid waste disposal to Wake County residents for 25 years. This includes a new long-term Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with municipalities and a Landfill Services contract with Waste Industries, Inc., for the construction and operation of the landfill.

The South Wake Landfill Citizens Committee consists of members of the residential and business community in the vicinity of the South Wake Landfill, and is being formed under the sponsorship of the Wake County Solid Waste Management Division.
