E-Waste, or electronic waste, is any household item with a plug. Common e-waste includes computer equipment, monitors, TVs, telephones, stereos, video players, game consoles and small appliances. There is no fee for recycling electronics at Wake County facilities.

Wake County residents and businesses can recycle electronics at the following locations:

North Wake Multi-Material Recycling Facility [map]
Monday-Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm

South Wake Multi-Material Recycling Facility [map]
Monday-Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm

East Wake Multi-Material Recycling Facility [map]
Saturday-Sunday, 8 am to 4 pm

Wake County residents only may recycle electronic equipment at the following locations:

Convenience Center Site #1 [map]
Saturday-Sunday, 7 am to 7 pm

Convenience Center Site #4 [map]
Saturday-Sunday, 7 am to 7 pm
