Corner of Kildaire Farm Road and Walnut St.,

The new Cary Regional Library will be located in downtown Cary across from the Cary Arts Center and adjacent to Cary's new outdoor performance space. The new library will be located on the upper two floors of a three-story structure.
The first floor will house the children's collection and a large children's program room. The second floor will house the Adult Services collection and feature a community meeting room and quiet study. The space will feature a generous amount of daylighting and views to the future town park that will be located northeast of the library.
This project is a unique partnership with the Town of Cary and will include construction of a new Town parking deck to serve library patrons and Town patrons using the Arts Center, the outdoor performance space, and other town venues. On the side of the parking deck facing the town park, the Town of Cary has commissioned an artist to design public art that will be integrated into the north facade of the parking deck as a nature image.
