Southeast Area Land Use Plan Activity Centers - LUPA 04-08

Wake County will hold two open house meetings about proposed amendments to the County’s Southeast Wake Area Land Use Plan map. The proposals are to change Activity Centers from circles to parcel-based boundaries in accordance with size standards adopted by the Wake County Board of Commissioners.

Activity Centers are focal points for community activities such as living, working, shopping, education, recreation and cultural, civic or spiritual activities. They allow for mixed-use development including residential, commercial, and service uses that help support communities.

Two open house meetings will be held on the proposals. The meetings will be held between the hours of 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
