Wake County Animal Center Volunteer Program logo

The first step to becoming a volunteer is is to attend a volunteer orientation. The training session lasts approximately 1-1/2 hours.

Please RSVP for a session by e-mailing the volunteer coordinator at amy.wladyka@wakegov.com. **At this time the minimum age to volunteer is 16 years old.  If you are under 18 years old, you must volunteer with a parent or guardian.  **

Orientation Schedule:

Thursday, August   5, at 6 p.m.
Thursday, August 12, at 6 p.m.
Thursday, August 19, at 6 p.m.
Thursday, August 26, at 6 p.m.

All orientations are held at the Wake County Adoption Center in the Education Room, unless otherwise indicated. Directions to center.
