Wake County Animal Care, Control and Adoption Center and VCA Animal Hospitals have teamed up to ensure your adopted pet is healthy. If you visit a VCA Animal Hospital within five (5) days of your adoption date from the Wake County Animal Center, your new pet will be entitled to a:
* Complimentary overall wellness exam (within five days after adoption); and
* Complimentary 14-day follow-up care for the following diseases ($500 maximum coverage) at any of the VCA Animal Hospitals in the Raleigh area.
- Upper Respiratory Infections
- Infectious Tracheobronchitis (Kennel Cough)
- Diarrhea of infectious origin (excluding Parvo)
- Vomiting of infectious origin (excluding Parvo)
- Internal Parasites
- Common Skin Disorders
- Ear and Eye Infections
- Urinary Tract Infections
- Suture Removal
