Public Information
Does your organization have a newsletter, e-mail system or bulletin board that can highlight messages on responsible pet care and encourage the adoption of homeless animals? If so, please

Volunteer Opportunities
Wake County Animal Adoption Center receives approximately 9,000 pets each year. Volunteers enable us to give our animals the care and attention they need and deserve.
We couldn't do it without their help! It is easy to become a volunteer. Simply complete a
Volunteer Application and attend a brief
orientation. The minimum age to volunteer is 18. Click on the VOLUNTEER section to the left for more information.
