The Capital Quilters Guild, the organization that produces the boutique and quilt auction at our Heritage Day every year, generously donated this beautiful quilt to be raffled off to raise money for the Tenant House Restoration Project!

We sold a total of 942 quilt raffle tickets, raising $807 for the Tenant House Restoration Project! Thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket and supported our project!

The raffle winner, Rev. Gwen Horton, came to Oak View on December 17, 2013, to pick up her quilt after one of her tickets was the lucky ticket! Here she's pictured with the Park Manager, Emily (L), and the Assistant Park Manager of Education, Sara (R).

A very special thanks goes to Cathy Kirk and the members of the Capital Quilters Guild for making and donating the beautiful quilt to us as a way to raise money for the Tenant House Restoration Project! We are so grateful for all your help and support!
