COVID-19 Update

These are unprecedented times—and Historic Oak View County Park is here for you

While we adhere to Wake County’s Stay at Home order, we are still open. In order to ensure you are able to practice social distancing, we’ll limit the number of people who can be at the park at one time. If you stop by and cones are across the park's main road, we’re full. We encourage you to check again later or use our Park Locator to find another park to visit

We’re in this together—and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Historic Oak View County Park is open daily, except on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Park Grounds Hours:
8:00 a.m. until sunset, seven days a week
Park Buildings Hours:
Monday–Saturday: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: 1–5 p.m.

Currently all park centers and facilities, including restrooms, are closed. They will remain closed until April 30, when the county will reevaluate the situation.
Please note: Oak View does not rent out any of the facilities or grounds for weddings, conferences, or other private events. The only facilities available for reservation are the two picnic shelters
