Hours: 

Historic Oak View County Park is open daily, except on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
 
Park Grounds:
8:00 a.m. - 1 hour before sunset, seven days a week
 
Park Buildings:
Monday–Saturday: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: 1–5 p.m.

Facilities: 

Historic Oak View County Park is a historic site with five historic buildings and a modern-day visitors' center. These facilities feature exhibits and displays, are open to the public, and therefore are not available for private rental. To learn more about each building, please click on the links below.

Picnic Shelters:

The only facilities at Historic Oak View County Park that are available for rental are the two picnic shelters. Each shelter has picnic tables and a large charcoal grill.

Reservations can be made in person at the Farm History Center or by calling 919-250-1013. Unreserved shelters may be used free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bluebird Shelter    50-person capacity         $60 rental fee
Carya Shelter        30-person capacity         $40 rental fee
