13th annual Haunting at Harris: An Unlucky Adventure!

If you are interested in volunteering for either of the dates listed below, please contact the park office at 919-387-4342 or by email at harris.lake@wakegov.com to sign up today!
Friday, October 16
School is out and our Haunting at Harris event is the next day. Do you need volunteer service hours for school? We are looking for volunteers ages 13 and up to help with last minute preparations for our event between 2 and 5 p.m. Please register by Wednesday, October 14 so we can plan for you. Check in at the Loblolly Shelter.
Saturday, October 17
Serve our park while having a great time! We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to lead games, crafts and other activities in the shelter area as well as actors to play parts along the trail for our wagon ride (suitable for families with young children) or on our NEW haunted walking trail (a spookier experience for ages 10 and up). We also have non-acting parts along the trail. If you reply early enough and have your own scary costume, we will try to incorporate you into our theme!
Specific volunteer times will vary depending on the volunteer job. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. Younger volunteers must be with an adult.
