To check for space availability, contact Harris Lake County Park by phone at 919-387-4342 or by emailing harris.lake@wakegov.com. To register, you will need to include a completed registration form and payment by mail or in person. All Harris Lake camps have at least two adults with campers at all times. Snack is provided; campers bring their lunch. All camps meet at the Cypress Shelter!
 
Junior Ecology Camp
June 17–21 (5 days), 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Ages 5–8; $80/child; (Track 1, traditional and homeschool)
Enjoy a week filled with fun as we explore Harris Lake County Park and discover the wildlife living there. See critters up close and personal. We will play games, make crafts, fish and take a hayride to the Longleaf Forest.

Ecology Camp
June 24–28 (5 days), 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Ages 9–12; $140/child; (Track 1, traditional and homeschool)
Get ready for a week filled with fun as we explore the ecosystems at Harris Lake County Park and discover the wildlife living there. See critters up close and personal. You will also play games, make crafts, canoe, fish and take a hayride to the Longleaf Forest.

Fun in the Sun
July 8-12 (5 days), 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Ages 9–12; $140/child; (Track 1, traditional and homeschool)
Enjoy a week outside at the park! Learn to play disc golf and catch & cook a fish. Go hiking and canoeing to explore the back roads and coves of the park. Join us for fun and games in the sun!
 
Nature Adventurers2 Days at Harris Lake County Park and 2 Days at Crowder District Park
July 15–18 (4 days), 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Ages 7–9; $112/child (Track 1, traditional and homeschool)
Great adventures take place every day in nature! Learn about the natural world through a variety of hands-on activities that focus on geology, natural cycles, waterways and our neighbors in nature.

Amazing Race
August 6–8 (3 days), 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Ages 12–15; $84/child; (Track 3, traditional and homeschool)
Want to compete in the Harris Lake Amazing Race? Attend our brand new kids' Amazing Race camp! Learn the skills you need to win! Hiking and backpacking, orienteering and navigation skills, and canoeing activities to prepare you for the camp finale – the Amazing Race!

Young Naturalists
August 20–22 (3 days), 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Ages 7–9; $84/child; (Track 3, traditional and homeschool)
Explore nature for yourself! We'll do fun, hands-on activities that collect information about our local environment. Conduct plant and wildlife investigations, test pond water, play related games and make crafts. Keep a field journal of all your observations and your new naturalist skills!

Survival Skills Camp
November 12–14 (3 days), 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Ages 9–12; $84/child; (Track 2, traditional and homeschool)
Practice skills to survive in the woods using the "Leave No Trace" ethic, create a survival pack, feast on wild edibles, track animals, canoe and fish.
