Discovery Day Camp

 
Time: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Ages: 7–12

Explore the natural wonders of Harris Lake County Park while hiking or on a back roads wagon ride. Experience the fun of fabulous fishing and canoeing, enjoy games and crafts with new friends, try out geocaching, "disc-over" the sport of disc golf and practice survival skills.
Meets at the Cypress Shelter.

Schoolhouse of Wonder Track Out Camps at Harris Lake County Park

For 25 years Schoolhouse of Wonder has sent kids home dirty, tired and happy from their award-winning, outdoor Summer and Track Out Camps. This fall they are again partnering with Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space to offer nature-based, outdoor Track Out Camps at Harris Lake County Park for 5–12-year-olds. Schoolhouse camps offer extended hours, low camper-to-staff ratio, sibling and multi-camp discounts.
