Survival Skills Day Camp

Spend spring break learning how to survive in the wild! Using problem-solving skills, we will construct a debris shelter, build a fire, search for wild edibles, track animals, make our own take-home survival packs and explore the park. Meets at the Cypress Shelter.

Safety is emphasized during all activities.

March 23–27, 2015 (5-day camp)

Ages: 7–12     Time: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.     Cost: $150 per child

 

Day Camps

Enjoy new, longer day camp hours this year! We will canoe, fish, explore nature, take a wagon ride along the back roads of the park, build a debris shelter, play disc golf, find a geocache, create crafts, and much more! Meets at the Cypress Shelter.

These day camps are for ages 7–12 and will run from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

 

June 9–12 (4-day camp)

Cost: $130 per child

 

June 15–19 (5-day camp)

Cost: $160 per child

 

July 13–17 (5-day camp)

Cost: $160 per child

 

Half-Day Camps

In these mini-camps, we will canoe and fish, discover nature, take a wagon ride along the back roads of the park, create fun crafts and more! Meets at the Cypress Shelter.

June 22–26 (5-day camps)

Ages: 4–8

Cost: $65 per child

Choose the morning or afternoon session.

Morning Session: 9 a.m.–noon     Afternoon Session: 1–4 p.m.
