Do you enjoy spending time outside and making a difference? Then we need you to help out at Crowder! We have volunteer opportunities for motivated individuals and small groups.

To get started, fill out the park's volunteer application and sign the volunteer waiver. All volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian while volunteering.

INTERN POSITION DESCRIPTION 

As an intern at Crowder County Park, you will have the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge in the field of natural resource management through extensive hands‐on experience and training. An ideal candidate enjoys the outdoors and is creative, considerate, and willing to work with our team. Job duties of the position are to help map and inventory the many plants and animal species of the park with a main focus on the implementation of an invasive species management plan. Individual will also have the opportunity to develop educational displays and handouts for the public. Interns will work both independently and part of a team. Knowledge of NC Piedmont environment preferred.
