How Can You Help?
Would you be willing to put your green thumb to good use? We need nature-loving volunteers to help us care for our park's plant beds. Get your hands dirty and help us reduce the use of harmful chemicals, care for our wildlife and keep our flowers looking beautiful all year long.
Do you love nature as much as we do? We need an extra pair of hands to help our staff prepare for environmental education programs and assist during our classes! All we need is your passion for the environment and an eagerness to help out your local park.
Do you want to help out your community, be outside and have fun? If so, then consider helping out Crowder District Park as a friend of the Park! Welcome park goers on the boardwalk, offer fun facts about the turtles, or help staff out with keeping the park clean! We are looking for greeters who are enthusiastic, love nature and enjoy being around people!
Don’t forget we need community support on our biggest day of the year; Frog Fest – Crowder’s annual celebration of frogs and water quality! This year’s festival will be on Saturday, April 5, 2014.
