Rockin’ Around

June 23, 25 and 27, 9 a.m.-noon OR 1-4 p.m.

Geology captures our imagination this week as we explore rocks, rocks and more rocks through hikes, games, stories and crafts.

For 6-8-year-olds.  $40/child

 

Forest Detective

July 21, 23 and 25, 9 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m. – Both sessions are full, but please give us a call or e-mail to put your child on the waiting list.

Hone your tracking skills as we hunt down wild animals and plants in this exciting mini-camp. As a nature detective, you’ll use your senses and a special kit to discover hidden secrets in the Blue Jay forest. This will be an all-weather adventure, so dress accordingly!

For 6-8-year-olds.  $40/child

 

Blue Jay Explorers

June 16, 18 and 20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

From the sun and stars to Global Positioning Systems (GPS), join us as we progress through time to learn how explorers have used tools to find their way through our world. We will use these tools to become skilled in such activities as geocaching and letterboxing while we explore the wilds of Blue Jay Point County Park.

For 9-12-year-olds   $60/child


Summer Eco-Kids, mini-camps for ages 4-5, will be listed in the Spring Quarterly, available March 20, 2008.
