Project Food, Land and People Workshop
There are no FLP Workshops scheduled at Blue Jay at this time
Project Food, Land & People is committed to helping people of all ages better understand the interrelationships among agriculture, the environment, and people of the world. The curriculum used, Resources for Learning, consists of 55 hands-on lessons for students in grades preK–12, developed and tested by more than a thousand educators. Subjects range from environmental science and stewardship to human populations and land use issues. Just where, exactly, does our food come from? That's just one of the many questions explored through these fun, thought-provoking lessons. This workshop meets the objectives for NCEE Criteria I. CEU credit may also be available upon completion of a homework assignment.
Adult Workshop. Preregistration required. Participants will meet at the Blue Jay Center for Environmental Education. Please bring a bag lunch and wear field clothing.
A $25 materials fee check made out to NCASWCD/FLP is due on arrival at the workshop.
