Using excerpts from the environmentally acclaimed Dr. Seuss book The Lorax, this natural history series for homeschoolers ages 6–8 focuses on concepts relating to conservation issues in the Piedmont. This program series will meet from 1–3 p.m. on first and third Tuesdays, January through April. At one of Blue Jay's most popular homeschool offerings, students will take hikes, do activities and conduct simple experiments to learn about water, air, land and the living things that depend on them.
Sessions will meet at the
Blue Jay Center for Environmental Education.
$60/participant for all 8 sessions.
