NC Basic Project WILD

9 a.m.–4 p.m.

Project WILD workshops are designed for teachers, youth leaders and resource agency staff such as nature center personnel and environmental educators. NC Wildlife Resources Division educator Cecilia King will demonstrate hands-on activities that help participants learn basic concepts about wildlife. Workshop participants can then use their experiences and the materials provided as tools for teaching in many subject areas, including math, science, language, health and technology. Please wear field clothing and bring a bag lunch.

This 6-hour Project WILD workshop counts as a Criteria I workshop in the
NC Environmental Education Certification Program
CEU credit may be available with the completion of a homework assignment.

Adult Program. FREE, but preregistration is required.
