Blue Jay Days
A new, daylong experience for children ages 9-12 at Blue Jay Point! Blue Jay Days are scheduled on selected traditional school calendar holiday/workdays on alternating year-round school calendar tracks. Homeschool families will also be able to take advantage of these single-day “camp-like” events. Try it out and let us know what you think!
Fee: $30/participant, includes snacks, activities and staff supervision – bring a bag lunch!
Preregistration is required. To check for space availability, you may call the Blue Jay Center for Environmental Education at 919-870-4330. To register, you will need to submit a completed registration form and payment by mail or in person.

Air is all around us and all-important to us. Join Blue Jay staff for fun, air-y games, crafts and activities. From photosynthesis tag and air painting to an AFV challenge and more—come explore air with us!
Migration Activation
Monday, November 3, 8:30am-4pm (Traditional calendar vacation day and Track 3 track-out)
Animals are on the move, and you will be too. Join us for fun and games as we explore the annual movements of birds, bats and more. Create and share migration stories around the campfire and make a real, wood bat box to take home.
