Blue Jay Point County Park is a 236-acre park located on the shores of Falls Lake in northern Wake County. Blue Jay Point's mission is to offer environmental education programming in a natural setting.

Park Information:  Park is open Monday-Sunday, 8 a.m.-sunset, except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day, when the park is closed. Park entrance is free.

Park Rules and Regulations:  Safety and enjoyment go hand in hand at Blue Jay Point County Park. The following rules and regulations have been established to ensure a safe and pleasant visit.

  1. Speed limit is 20 mph.
  2. Pets must be kept on a leash – 6 feet max.
  3. Open fires are not allowed.
  4. Park only in designated areas. No parking on roadsides or grass.
  5. The following are prohibited:
    1. Alcoholic beverages
    2. Firearms
    3. Hunting
    4. Overnight camping
    5. Swimming
    6. Collection or removal of any animal or plant material
    7. Amplified music
