Individuals and groups interested in volunteering are welcome!
Equestrians are especially encouraged to join fellow riders volunteering on manure cleanup days. Last year volunteers put in a total of 638 hours cleaning the trail.
There are other volunteer opportunities during the winter months which include clearing vegetation along trail border, garden improvements, and other maintenance projects.
If you would like to become an American Tobacco Trail volunteer, please call 919-387-2117. Each volunteer will also need to complete the Wake County Volunteer Release Form and mail or bring to park before they can begin their volunteer work.
