First Customer Satisfaction Survey Results
Wake County Parks employees are on an ongoing mission to find out how our customers feel about park services. Based on surveys completed so far this year, park-goers seem to pleased. On key questions, here were the results:
- 98.3% of survey-takers were satisfied or very satisfied with their overall park experience.
- 96.8 % of survey-takers were satisfied or very satisfied with the primary activity, or activities, they conducted while at one of the parks, and
- 97.9% of survey-takers responded that they would recommend the park they visited to others.
For the majority of the parks, word-of-mouth was the most frequently selected answer to the question, "How did you find out about this park?" Many people also responded that they lived nearby and found out by "driving past the park," or that they found out through the park website or other online sources. These are just a few of the things that were discovered through this surveying process, and park staff is currently evaluating the details.
Still, we want to hear more about what our visitors think, so we're asking visitors to be open to answering new, short surveys in the coming months. We promise it will only take a few minutes away from time spent enjoying the park experience!
