Wake County Parks COVID-19 Service Update

While we adhere to Wake County’s Stay at Home order, Wake County parks and preserves are still open. Visitors must comply with all regulations set forth in the proclamation, including maintaining physical distance of at least six feet from any other person, with the exception of family or household members—even when outside.

At Wake County’s eight parks and two preserves, listed below, we’re working to make this possible by limiting the number of people allowed in the park at one time. If our gate is closed or cones are blocking the entrance, that means we’ve reached capacity. Parks that are run by towns or cities may be operating differently—please reach out to them directly before visiting their parks.

Failure to follow the social distancing guidelines set forth could result in the closure of the parks. Please do your part to slow the spread of COVID-19. We’re all in this together.
